ORGANIZATION
Therapeutic Communities are currently the equipment that serves the largest number of chemical dependents in residential regime in Brazil and Latin America, being a strategic element in the articulation of public policies on drugs
Brazilian Federation of Therapeutic Communities – FEBRACT, founded in 1990 by Father Haroldo Rahm and Profesor Saulo Montserrat, has as main objective to strength, organize, capacitate and advise Therapeutic Communities in Brazil, besides working in partnership in public policies in drugs.
The World Federation of Therapeutic Communities – WFTC, gather continental federations of Therapeutic Communities of all the whole world, also seeking to work on the qualification and elaboration of quality criteria, as well as acting directly in the structuration of international public policies on drugs, mainly with UNODC – the Unites Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.
The Latin American Federation of Therapeutic Communities – FLACT, has been developing important work since its foundation in 1987, gathering Therapeutic Communities from all over Latin America, focusing on the qualification and elaboration of quality criteria that strengthen and qualify the services. All this trough joint actions with the OAS/CICAD (Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission of the Organization of American States).
This event will be attended by representatives of National and Continental Federations of Therapeutic Communities of all continents, as well as representatives of UNODC, national governments delegations of many countries and also representatives of Therapeutic Communities from all over Brazil and Latin América, along with Drug Policies authorities, with an estimated public of 1500 attendants.
With unparalleled programming, the highest quality international speakers and a unique venue, it is sure to be an unmissable and unforgettable event for all those committed to addiction recovery in Brazil, Latin America and the World!
